Studio setup
Do this once, before your first share. Everything your client sees is branded from Settings:
| Field | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| Studio name | Under your logo on every review page, and in the client's intro copy |
| Website | Your studio link on the client-facing page |
| Brand colour | The accent on the review page — eyebrow chip, buttons, highlights |
| Logo | The top of every review page, around 180 × 72 px |
Session playbook
One shoot, two products. The frame is fifteen minutes of work on top of an album you've already designed, and it costs nothing to design — so there's no reason not to show both.
| Stage | Do this | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Cull | Export the album selection at full resolution, sRGB, named in shooting order | After the main edit |
| 2 · Build the album | Create it at size, upload, rough in with Fill remaining, pace it, crop, add text, design the cover | Design session |
| 3 · Build the frame | Frame this from the album card — the photos come across. Render three options in a room scene | Same session, ~15 min |
| 4 · Check both | Album DPI overlay all green; every frame opening above 200 | Before sharing |
| 5 · Share both | The album for approval, the frame as “something I put together while designing” | Same message |
| 6 · Revise | Work the pinned notes and send one consolidated update on the same link | Within 48 hours |
| 7 · Order | Send the album to print; download and order the frame | On approval |
| 8 · Follow up | Parent copies and reprints, inside the 30-day window. Watch for Wants more chips | At delivery |
Client links — your follow-up queue
Client links in the header lists every review link you've shared, with filter tabs carrying live counts: All, Awaiting review, Changes requested, Approved. Each row shows the product, title, client reference, share date, version and a set of chips.
| Chip | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active / Paused | Whether the link currently accepts responses |
| Awaiting review | Sent, no verdict yet — this is your chase list |
| Approved | Signed off, with the date |
| Open notes | Unresolved client feedback waiting on you |
| Wants more | Your client flagged interest in another size or a second copy |
| Works until | When the link expires |
Open it daily. Anything sitting in Awaiting review as its expiry approaches is a sale quietly lapsing, and a Wants more chip is a warm lead you didn't have to ask for.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Client says the link is dead | The URL was retyped from the share panel, which shortens it on screen | Always send it with Copy link, Email or Share — the visible text is shorter than the real token |
| Can't switch to the size you want | Size changes are locked to the same shape | Square swaps with square, landscape with landscape. Decide orientation before you design |
| Can't add a single spread | Spreads move in blocks of 5 | Work in 5s; 30 is the maximum |
| A face is split by the fold | The subject is sitting on the gutter line | Flip the spread, or reposition the crop off-centre |
| The album opened in a stripped-back mode | Unresolved client notes force Revise mode | Switch to Build in the banner, or use the header toggle |
| Your client is seeing an old version | The proof wasn't re-sent after the edits | Send updated proof — same URL, new version. For frames, re-share after any re-render |
| The frame width you promised isn't offered | Width is style-dependent — not every finish is made in every width | Check the available widths after choosing the finish; the ornate profile is 40 mm only |
| An opening is flagged amber | Under 200 DPI after the crop | Zoom out, drop the Size scale back, or swap in a larger original |
| The frame print doesn't line up with the mat | The downloaded file was edited outside the app | Never modify the export — fix it in the editor and download again |
| The client page shows no branding | Studio settings are incomplete | Set your studio name, website, brand colour and logo in Settings |
| The editor feels sluggish | Too many images loaded | Cull before uploading; the tray's multi-select delete clears rejects quickly |
| Originals are gone for a reprint | Past the ~30-day retention window | Rebuild from your own archive — order reprints inside 30 days |
